Langley Library opens 6th May
His Worshipful the Mayor of Slough Cllr Rashad Butt will open the new building on Trelawney Avenue at 10am on Tuesday 6th May. After the opening ceremony there will be a poetry performance by children from Ryvers School, a welcome speech and then refreshments and an opportunity to explore the new library. Celebrations will be happening all opening week. See Events and Activities for more details of the planned activities. Come and see the transformation both inside and out! We are looking forward to welcoming customers both old and new. There are lots of new resources, more computers, and a relaxation area with bright colourful sofas, where you can sit and relax, and read and enjoy. In the new library there will be:

NOTE:
Langley Library is currently operating from a temporary building in Wilford
Road, next to the original building which has been knocked down to make
way for a new Library. While a restricted service is available,
customers are entitled to two free requests from Langley Library. Please telephone the above
number for more details. In addition, the Slough Libraries' mobile service
will be parked every Friday at Langley Pavilion 10.30am-3.30pm.
